Although not the biggest football watcher, every year I do sit down to enjoy the Super Bowl…and especially the commercials. While Beyonce’s performance didn’t give us any female robots, we did get a couple ads that took care of the otherworldly-womanly charm.
Enjoy.

A genie made out like the chick from LEGALLY BLONDE is just so wrong. Yeah, her sense of ‘literal’ poety justice was on the spot, but I couldn’t buy Kaley Cuoco as a magical anything. Maybe as a victim of magic, but not the producer of one. The robo-babes on the other commercial were fun.
I’d generally agree with that. Although my only complaint about the genie commercial is the outfit. I wouldn’t push for a bikini on national television (despite my personal tastes), but SOMETHING that implies she’s a little more other-worldly would be better.
Also…genie dog?
Something skintight might’ve worked.
Hey, if the teams’ cheerleaders can wear relatively skimpy 2-piece outfits (although you didn’t see them much during the game broadcast)…
I did like that the little girl’s “princess” wish turned her into a Joan of Arc type, as opposed to a Kate Middleton (or Disney) type.
The wishes were pretty nicely done.
